South Cinema's sexy Bollywood imports

Namitha Kapoor: Though she didn't debut in Bollywood, she is a typical Gujju. After winning the Ms. Surat title, the South film industry beckoned Nams with open hands. And of course she adorned it with all vigour!

Simran: After her uneventful debut in Tere Mere Sapne, this Delhi kudi came to south with smash hit debut opposite none other than Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan and Vijay. The film 'Once More', though would be remembered as a majorly for the terrible fashion faux pas that Simran was capable of, still managed to get people to notice her. And then started the saga!

Mallika Sherawat: Do we even need to write? Or does it even matter anymore! Jus' looking at her will do for most, but for the more curious kind, Mallika came to filmdom with a big bang that many prefer to call the 'Khwahish Kiss effect'. Years later, Mani Ratnam decided to bring her to the glorious south with Maiya Maiya and then later, Kamal, with the famous swimsuit dance from Dasavathaaram.

Tamanna Bhatia came to filmdom with as a child artiste in Chand Sa Roshan Chehra. The film didn't gain her the much needed recognition that she deserves. But now of course, she is scorching our screens with explosive performances like in the recent hits, 'Kalloori', 'Ready' and 'Padikkathavan'

Tabassum is the quintessential Bollywood beauty who took time out to sprinkle some of the her expertise on this side of the Vindhyas. With powerful performances from movies like 'Iruvar' and 'Kandukonden Kandukonden' in her kitty, Tabu only leaves the audience yearning for more, each time she does a South flick. Her latest with Balakrishna, of course, was an exception to that rule!

How can we ever forget her fantastic performance in 'Kadhalar Dinam'? Sonali might be happily married these days, but during her hay days, she was every man's poster girl!
